Job Summary

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, given priority to safety, quality, and output respectfully. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; working with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) on improvements; and addressing complains and resolving problems.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Delegates work assignments; sets expectations and monitors delegated activities; provides recognition for results
  • Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; develops realistic action plans.
  • Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization's goals and values.
  • Addressing production issues, equipment malfunctions, or workflow bottlenecks to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
  • Assign, train, and develop incoming production and quality staff.
  • Assignment, Training, Development and Management of production personnel.

  • Coordinate with BUM and Site Leader to set attainable production goals for quarters.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Manager to schedule machine PM’s.
  • Coordinating with IPT to execute production schedules, ensuring that targets and deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Drive productivity improvement projects.
  • Enforcing workplace safety regulations, conducting safety briefings, and ensuring employees follow proper procedures to prevent accidents or hazards.
  • Ensure all staff members are trained to the current procedures and that procedures current, accurate and complete.
  • Ensuring adequate availability of raw materials, tools, and equipment require for production, while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
  • Ensuring all production activities align with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate production workers and assign goals for next review period.
  • Identifies production, quality, and safety issues/concerns, and implements countermeasures.
  • Identify suggested improvements to Engineering.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and maintain cost-effectiveness.
  • Interview and screen job applicants.
  • LN production shift data entry.
  • Maintain accurate training records of production staff (on-the-Job Training Knowledge Check).
  • Maintain production report records.
  • Makes sure that production programs are producing product that meets all commitments.
  • Managing a team of production workers, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and ensuring productivity and morales remain high.
  • Monitoring processes and products to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards, addressing issues promptly.
  • Orders production supplies.
  • Perform process audits and reports finings during program IPT meetings.
  • Perform safety audits and captures the results into the Vector database.

  • Respond to program corrective actions and implement countermeasures.
  • Responsible for deploying work job codes to production and support staff.
  • Schedule machines and production to meet business unit forecast.
  • Serve as the production building owner.

  • Submit requisitions for replenishable goods, and parts needed to continue production.
  • Submit shipping request to schedule product pick‑up.
  • Track attendance and production and enforce disciplinary actions when needed.
  • Understand KPI such as productivity, efficiency, and quality, and taking corrective actions when targets are not met.
  • Utilize LEAN Manufacturing to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.
  • Be flexible to work (1st, 2nd, or weekend shift, which includes 3rd and 4th shift) as assigned.
