The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of employees on the production floor. This role involves ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. Additionally, the Production Supervisor provides guidance and support to employees, resolves issues, and promotes a positive work environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Production Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees on the production floor or in a retail environment to ensure efficient operations and adherence to production schedules.
- Monitor production processes, equipment operation, and workflow to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize efficiency.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to employees, set production targets, and track progress to meet production goals.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure that products or services meet quality standards and specifications by implementing quality control measures and conducting inspections.
- Address any quality issues or deviations from standards promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide training and support to employees on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Conduct first-piece quality inspections on all production projects.
- Employee Supervision and Support:
- Provide leadership and guidance to employees, including training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Monitor employee performance and behavior, address performance issues or concerns, and provide recognition and rewards for achievements.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork, cooperation, and morale among employees.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for employees.
- Enforce safety protocols and practices, conduct safety inspections, and address any safety hazards or concerns.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience.
Corrugated experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
Must have the ability to lift, climb, push, and pull as needed.
May have prolonged periods of walking and standing.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
