Job summary

Fameccanica North America is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a large hourly team in a repetitive production and assembly environment in West Chester, OH. The role emphasizes floor presence, safety, quality, and productivity while adapting to changing priorities.

You will oversee daily activities, coach and motivate staff, and collaborate with quality, engineering, and planning to maintain output and resolve issues on the fly.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing leadership experience in a high-volume, repetitive production environment.
• Experience supervising a large hourly team (75+ employees) with staffing and performance accountability.
• Hands-on, lead-by-example leadership with strong floor presence.
• Solid understanding of production workflow, safety, quality, labor management and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, organization, and communication skills.
• SAP experience is preferred for reporting and planning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily repetitive production and assembly activities to meet safety, quality, output, and schedule expectations.
• Supervise a large hourly team by assigning work, setting clear expectations, monitoring progress, and following up throughout the shift.
• Stay visible on the production floor to identify staffing, workflow, downtime, quality, or performance issues and resolve them quickly.
• Create accountability by addressing attendance, safety, quality, performance, and conduct concerns in a fair and respectful way.
• Coach, train, and motivate employees to stay engaged, productive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Partner with quality, engineering, maintenance, planning, and leadership to solve problems and keep production moving.

• Hands‑on, lead‑by‑example style with strong shop floor presence and the ability to keep people focused and accountable.
• Solid understanding of production workflow, safety, quality, labor management, and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem‑solving, prioritization, organization, and communication skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is preferred.
• Integrity, professionalism, and a respectful approach to leading hourly employees.
