About the role

Located just outside of Chicago, our Melrose Park location is part of our Meat division and creates batter blends, pastry blends, and bread crumbs. The typical hiring range for this role is $64,500 to $105,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).

Key responsibilities

Role Description:

•Management of the Production team on a day to day basis

•Management of the daily operational efficiency initiatives

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently execute the production schedule
• Develop and maintain efficient SOPs in collaboration with the site engineers
• Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the plant production department
• Communicate and enforce regulatory & Kerry standards within the plant
• Drive operational efficiency initiatives
• Manage the plant production department within budget.
• Positive working environment driving a continuous improvement theme
• Work in collaboration with HSE officer to ensure a safe working environment
• Responsible for manufacturing product to specification
• Responsible for minimizing losses
• Ensure food safety programs are instituted and followed
• Management through KPI's
