Job Purpose:

Corru-Kraft, a Veritiv company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to supervise, plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor activities in manufacturing processes and co-workers in the fabrication and assembly of corrugated cartons and inner packaging.
This position reports to the: Production Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Shift: 1st

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality meet specifications.
• Confers with co-workers to coordinate department activities.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Maintain quality, efficiency, and production levels set by management.
• Direct and train co-workers in machinery and equipment operation.
• Inspect machines and equipment for operational performance and utilization.
• Maintain inventories of sheets, inks, and supplies.
• Compile, store, and retrieve production data.
• Inspect work in progress and finished goods.
• Interpret factory cards and direct workflow.
• Review errors and complaints, assist in corrective actions.
• Review production reports and resolve operational issues.
• Communicate with supervision during shift changes.
• Prepare subordinate performance evaluations.
• Inform upper management of issues affecting performance.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Packaging and/or Facility Solutions industry.
• Proven prospecting and value creation skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• Strategic account planning and indirect leadership experience.
• Strong business acumen and analysis skills.
• Growth mindset and ability to travel up to 25%.

Work Experience:

• 10-15 years of related experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.com preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Continuous computer work, frequent lifting/moving up to 10 pounds, travel to various locations.
