Production Supervisor

This exciting role will be responsible for managing production, overseeing staff, ensuring quality control, and monitoring equipment. The position is based in Burlington, WA. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of solar cells and PV modules for the renewable energy industry. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all operations staff follow safety protocols and execute operations and equipment safety measures.
2. Provide ongoing training and technical assistance to operational staff, ensuring adherence to work instructions and best practices.
3. Report defective or non-conforming products.
4. Perform quality control as per work instructions and guidance from production and quality leaders.
5. Maintain product traceability through proper use of the Data Collection System, ensuring it is active and functional.
6. Monitor raw material stock levels, refilling and ordering as needed to meet production schedules.
7. Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians to resolve maintenance issues, following established procedures.
8. Communicate shift information, problems, and solutions with the Lead Hands and Production Supervisor of previous and next shifts.
9. Report production, quality, process, or personnel issues to the Production Manager immediately.
10. Propose process and procedure improvements to enhance yield and equipment uptime.
11. Be capable of performing all production tasks and substituting for staff during breaks or absences.
12. Work overtime as required.
13. Minimize risks related to accidents and quality issues.
14. Enhance the technical knowledge and engagement of operations staff.
15. Maximize equipment uptime and ensure product traceability and quality.
16. Achieve production goals and improvements set by the Production Manager.
17. Foster a cooperative team environment during shifts.
18. Collaborate with other teams to maximize organizational efficiency and improvements.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. 3+ years of experience as a production supervisor.
3. Knowledge of process improvement, budgeting, and production standards.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Strong leadership skills to manage teams and resolve personnel issues efficiently.
6. Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
7. Experience with production planning, controls, and instrumentation.
8. Experience with MRP and/or ERP systems.

Salary Range:

$78,000 - $85,000, with eligibility for up to a 10% annual bonus.

Weekly Schedule Options:

1. PITMAN DAY SHIFT: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM with rotating schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, etc.).
2. PITMAN NIGHT SHIFT: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM with rotating schedule (same pattern as day shift).
