Our client, manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be part of the production operations team supporting shift execution and materials-to-production flow. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision, aligning successfully in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Allentown, PA
Shift: Sunday-Tuesday 3pm-3am (will likely be moved to Monday through Friday at a later date)
What's the Job?
- Oversee and ensure proper production planning and scheduling are carried out during the assigned shift.
- Monitor production activities and address issues to prevent deviations from production schedules.
- Balance labor cost and machine requirements during the assigned shift to support efficient output.
- Provide direct supervision to an assigned shift, including motivation and development of subordinates to optimize performance and personal growth.
- Oversee routine housekeeping as required and perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, including assisting related department activities.
What's Needed?
- Graduation from High School, including or supplemented by vocational training.
- Minimum three (3) years employment in a manufacturing environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of product production and strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with minimum supervision as a self-starter.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language; vision includes close, color, peripheral, and depth perception; ability to lift and handle objects up to 100 lbs. on a routine basis.
