Job summary

ManpowerGroup’s client, a leader in manufacturing and heat treatment services, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join the Heat Treatment Department. You will lead daily operations, drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production objectives.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer service while managing shifts and coordinating with the crew to achieve optimal

• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including 12-hour days or nights, on a 2/3/3/2 pattern.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work every other weekend as part of the schedule.

• Manage, lead, and be accountable for crew environmental, health, and safety performance and practices.
• Monitor production and information flow paths and production rates to ensure objectives are met.
• Demonstrate commitment to servicing the customer by communicating expectations and priorities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, manage, and execute departmental operating plans, including scheduling, crew assignments, and overtime.
• Lead and engage hourly teams in process improvement and problem-solving activities, including Root Cause Analysis.
