Job summary

Prysmian Group is a global leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, seeking a capable supervisor for our manufacturing operations in Abbeville, SC. You will guide shop floor teams, ensure safety and quality, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with logistics and maintenance to meet cost and production goals.

The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with 1–3 years in supervision, strong data literacy, and proficiency in common office software.

Qualifications

• High School/GED diploma required.
• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Machine Tool Technology, or related technical discipline preferred.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience required.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience required.
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and manufacturing systems.
• Experience using production data, KPIs, reporting tools, and operational metrics.

Brief Summary of Primary Duties:

Education:

Experience:

• Experience utilizing production data, KPIs, reporting tools, and operational metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Lean manufacturing exposure preferred

Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:

• Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areas
• Hearing Protection required in posted areas
• Ability to stand 8-12 hours on concrete floors
