Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services in Butler, Indiana is hiring Production Workers and Slitter Operators for a steel processing operation. Training on 1st shift, then you’ll move to a permanent shift.

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $20.00/hr.

You will operate forklifts and overhead cranes, move steel coils, handle and process steel products, run slitter machines, and maintain production records on a computer.

Qualifications

• Experience in production or manufacturing environment (forklift, overhead crane, machine operation, material handling, steel processing, or machine setup).
• Slitter machine operating experience is typically required.
• Machine operation and/or steel manufacturing experience preferred for slitter opportunities.
• Basic computer skills to maintain production documents.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 20 lbs during shift.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (forklift, overhead crane, machine operation, material handling, steel processing, or machine setup)
• Operator roles: prior slitter machine operating experience is typically required.
• Slitter opportunities: machine operation and/or steel manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills to maintain production documents
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and stoop throughout the shift and lift up to 20 lbs
