Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an experienced Production Support specialist to ensure stability and high service quality for production applications. You will lead incident response, drive improvements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.

You will manage changes, perform root cause analyses, maintain DR/BCP documentation, and contribute to monthly dashboards while mentoring peers across the support organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of application production support and stability experience.
• Java/J2EE/Spring MVC, Spring Boot & Hibernate mandatory.
• DB2 / Oracle / PostgreSQL experience required.
• Linux proficiency required.
• Kubernetes and AWS mandatory.
• Tomcat/JBoss experience required.
• Elasticsearch proficiency required.
• Grafana proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Execute the strategy devised for the business unit.
• Own incident, problem, change and risk management for the production app.
• Create, review and update Production Support documentation and DR/BCP processes.
• Participate in cross-training and knowledge transfer within teams.
• Identify risks and manage mitigation and timely closure of issues.
• Provide inputs to management for monthly incident trend dashboards.
• Adhere to ethics and the Group Code of Conduct in all activities.
• Embed Standard Chartered's brand and values in the Support team and duties.
