Atlas Molded Products in Byron Center, Michigan is seeking a Production Senior Lead for the 3rd shift (11pm to 7:30am, Sun. - Thur.) at the Byron Center plant.

The Senior Lead will supervise molding personnel, ensuring orders are produced on time while meeting safety and quality standards. The role requires manufacturing leadership, data collection in PeopleSoft ERP, and a commitment to maximizing yield and minimizing scrap.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Prior supervisory/lead experience preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Able to use simple math and basic hand-held measuring tools.
• Computer literate; Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct molding personnel to ensure orders are produced on time and meet safety and quality standards.
• Lead a small team to meet production schedule and quality standards; report issues to supervisor.
• Perform data collection in PeopleSoft (ERP).
• Maximize yield and reduce scrap.
• Verify order information and produce parts with correct material, density, weight, size, and shape within quality tolerance.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies and applicable laws.
• Prior experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Prior supervisory/lead experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Use basic math and hand-held measuring tools.
• Be computer literate; Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP systems.

• General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
• Direct molding personnel to ensure orders are produced in a timely fashion and adhere to safety and quality standards in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Must be able to work independently and lead employees within a small group to ensure production schedule and quality standards are met and report issues to supervisor.
• Perform various data collection functions in PeopleSoft (ERP).
• Maximize yield and reduce scrap.
• Verify order information and produce part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerance to meet customer specifications while meeting productivity standards.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.
• Prior supervisory/lead experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
• Must be able to use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

Senior Production Lead Education, Licenses & Certifications
