Job summary

Atlas Molded Products in Byron Center, MI is hiring Production Associates for the Byron Center Facility. You will support manufacturing processes, inspect and package parts, operate pallet jacks, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

This role requires basic math, attention to quality, and reliable attendance. GED or high school diploma preferred; prior manufacturing experience is a plus. Competitive benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Bundle, wrap, label materials per production instructions.
• Operate side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Familiar with Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.

Atlas Molded Products is seeking Production Associates for the Byron Center Facility

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES(Other duties as assigned)

• General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safetyrequirementsand departmental procedures.
• Inspect and package parts according tospecificationpages and record required information on in-process sheets.
• Bundles, wraps, stacks, packs, assemble and/orlabelsmaterials per specific production instructions.
• Operates side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Knowledge of and ability tooperatePre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
• Performs any other functions andresponsibilities asassigned.
• Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
• Must be trained and familiar with Quality System Awareness.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance isrequired.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken, preferred.
• Must be able to use simple math,countand use basic hand-held measuring tool

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Light to moderate physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and course manipulation, reaching both forward and above head level, and tolerant of temperature changes for the entire shift. Must be able to push,pulland/orlift upto 50pounds;and safelyoperateassigned machinery.
