Job summary

Allyant is seeking a Production Specialist to join the Production Department and manage daily print production, document reproduction, packaging and shipment of alternate format documents and statements for the blind and partially sighted community. The Production Specialist reports directly to the Production Manager.

You'll operate binding and printing equipment, embossing equipment, and handle packaging, tracking, and invoicing support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in an office or production setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Braille is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Understand SLA requirements and turnaround times for customers.
• Operate binding and printing equipment.
• Operate manual and automated embossing equipment.
• Stuff, pack, receive and ship parcels.
• Report quality problems for timely correction.
• Ensure documents are produced in the correct format and shipped on time.
• Track time spent on transcription tasks for invoicing and people services processes.
