Job summary

Job description

Our digital production specialists must be familiar with the operation of our Canon and HP wide format production equipment and be able to take the output from the graphic artists or customers and properly format it for production. This includes imposing production onto the larger production sheets, creating variable data field and merging documents with spreadsheets. Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment is required. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (both PC and MAC environments) and Microsoft Publisher are desirable.

They are also responsible for setting up and operating all standard bindery equipment such as folders, cutters, booklet making, punches, drills and scoring machines, the routine cleaning and maintenance of the production equipment and general housekeeping in their production areas.

Good organizational skills, attention to detail and adherence to all standard operating practices are essential. All employees are expected to demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality product to the customer in a timely manner. This is a production environment so rapid generation of high quality digital products is essential.
