Job summary

QXO, Inc. in Fremont, NE is seeking a production teammate to operate equipment, read work orders, cut and shape materials, and support daily production goals. You will maintain quality, follow safety policies, and document production and inventory.

Candidates should read tape measures, handle hand tools, work in a team or independently, lift 50+ lbs, and stand for long periods in varying conditions. Prior manufacturing or construction experience is a plus; willingness to overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfort working with hand tools and production equipment.

• Experience in manufacturing, production, construction, or a related field.
• Experience operating saws, cutting equipment, or fabrication machinery.
• Familiarity with blueprints or technical drawings.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move materials (50+ lbs as required).
• Comfortable with manufacturing environments and exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions if necessary.
• Ability to work early mornings, extended hours, or overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and tools to cut, shape, and prepare materials according to specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and basic drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Measure, cut, and verify materials using tape measures and other tools.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the production area.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to production and inventory.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe, including end-of-day cleanup.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Support team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
