Job summary

Domtar in Plymouth, North Carolina, seeks a Shipping/Planning Coordinator to establish and maintain the production schedule for the NC5 fluff pulp machine. You will manage mill-stock orders, coordinate with logistics, and schedule shipments with carriers.

Qualifications

• Strong planning, prioritizing, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to gain proficiency with Autoprod, DPS, and other software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the production schedule for the NC5 fluff pulp machine; manage mill-stock production order fulfillment.
• Review daily container booking status changes and update production schedule and order files.
• Coordinate with Logistics Manager and Corporate Production Planner to allocate orders, update forecast demand, and set lead times.
• Manage mill inventory levels for finished goods to ensure availability with shipment windows; oversee warehouse inventory and orders.
• Plan and coordinate shipments with dray carriers, trucking and rail lines; adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain accurate onsite order files with daily changes and updates.
• Perform additional duties as required.
