ManpowerGroup's client in Commack, NY is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations on the production floor. The role requires a safety-first mindset to drive quality and productivity in a fast-paced, cGMP-focused environment.

The position offers a Fri–Sun schedule with 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm or 6pm–6am) and a compensation of $24 per hour, with benefits post waiting period. Strong leadership and GMP/SOP discipline are essential assets for success.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing or production.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and SOP adherence.
• Basic understanding of production processes and quality inspection methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead production line start-ups, assigning tasks and resources to support productivity and efficiency goals.
• Routinely tour the facility during assigned shifts to monitor operations, ensure compliance, and support personnel.
• Achieve production schedules by engaging employees and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Assist the Plant Manager with coaching and motivating team members to improve safety, quality, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• In emergencies or unusual operations, take immediate action to direct or perform corrective measures while coordinating affected personnel.
