Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred; knowledge of plant equipment and safety.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and lead others.
• Willingness to work weekends and/or shift work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and product quality meets specifications.
• Inspect equipment and product to ensure safety, utilization, and quality; communicate with employees on safety, scheduling, problem-solving, and training.
• Lead, coach, and support line process teams to improve quality, increase flexibility and reduce costs.
• Review and support the master scheduling process to meet production needs.
• Plan process activities and staffing levels; follow established priorities and procedures.
• Review, analyze, and correct non-conformances in safety, production, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct required team meetings and safety training; provide feedback to hourly employees.
• Promote and implement core values daily.
