Job summary

Viega LLC in McPherson, KS is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee production employees on the assigned shift, ensure daily goals are met, and interpret orders, schedules and back-order reports while maintaining accurate records.

You will lead staffing, coordinate line activities, uphold health and safety rules, monitor inventory, and drive quality. The role requires hands-on leadership, coaching, and timely performance evaluations with the Line Manager, plus SAP and QMS documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 - 7 years of related work experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversees line workers to meet production goals.
• Reviews production orders and schedules; assigns work.
• Maintains shift logs and QMS documents; reports as required.
• Monitors inventory and materials; reports on shortages.
• Performs 6S housekeeping and area upkeep.
• Attends meetings and performs other duties as assigned.
