Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII in Houston (IB3) seeks a Production Shift Lead to guide daily operations, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and motivate a hands-on team. You will communicate clearly, adapt to changing production needs, and foster continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of supervisor experience in manufacturing, a technical degree or equivalent, and strong 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma knowledge.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required.
• Lead, Six Sigma, and Kaizen knowledge required.
• 2–3 years minimum of supervisor experience.
• Technical Degree/experience preferred.
• Management experience (min. 30 people).
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Full supervision of the 5S activity in your shift.
• Participation in the selection of new employees.
• Up-to-date working time records of subordinates.
• Regular evaluation of subordinates and preparation of training plans.
• Accurate and complete completion of the required documentation tasks.
• Must report any events affecting the production plan to his supervisor.
• Handling errors and events that do not affect the production plan of the shift.
• Production planning within a shift taking into account the needs of delivery.

Summary

The Shift Leader is responsible for supporting daily production operations by leading and motivating a team to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can effectively communicate with team members, adapt to changing production needs, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing or team leadership experience, strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to make sound decisions while fostering teamwork and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
