Job Overview

Mankiewicz Coatings LLC is seeking a Production Services Associate to join our team. This is a direct hire position that supports production by managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste responsibly.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain waste profiles and identify sources of hazardous materials.
  • Dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste using appropriate methods.
  • Complete all required paperwork for waste disposal.
  • Assist with facility inspections.
  • Implement quality management and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Use department technology and equipment in accordance with work instructions.
  • Maintain and calibrate systems and tools (e.g., mixing equipment and scales).
  • Report production deviations to superiors.
  • Support inventory management and control systems as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Communicate effectively within the assigned team.
  • Operate internal computer programs (e.g., SAP).
  • Apply Lean Management / 5S principles.
  • Observe and report work‑area health and safety observations and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Adapt to additional duties as needed to meet company goals.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • Complete hazardous waste training within 6 months of hire and annually thereafter, per South Carolina regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations.
  • Experience with hazardous waste disposal is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP software (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide customer service.
  • Strong independence and follow‑through on assignments.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
  • Perform job functions consistently with ADA, FMLA, and other standards.
  • Maintain regular attendance.
  • Walk, stand, lift, carry, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach frequently.
  • Be exposed to fumes and hazardous chemicals.
  • Wear a respirator and pass annual fit testing.
  • L lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Understand instructions from supervisor.
