Mankiewicz Coatings LLC in South Carolina is seeking a Production Services Associate to support our production by managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations. You will maintain waste profiles, complete disposal paperwork, assist with facility inspections, and use SAP and Microsoft Office daily to document processes and reports.

Qualificações

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations.
  • Experience with hazardous waste disposal desirable.

Responsabilidades

  • Fully comply with laws and regulations for department and job functions.
  • Maintain waste profiles and identify sources of hazardous materials.
  • Prepare disposal paperwork for hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
  • Assist with facility inspections and quality management.
  • Use SAP and other department systems; keep accurate records.
  • Support lean management and 5S within the department.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and communicate opportunities for improvements.

Mankiewicz Coatings LLC is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Production Services Associate to join our team. This role is a direct hire position and is responsible for supporting our production by performing proper management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Job Responsibilities
  • Full compliance for all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to department and job functions.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of waste profiles.
  • Responsible for identifying sources of hazardous materials and using appropriate methods to dispose of them.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork required to dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
  • Assist with facility inspections.
  • Quality management as well as adherence to all company policy and procedure.
  • Proper use of department technology and technique in accordance to applicable Work Instructions.
  • Use of the systems and tools (e.g. mixing equipment, scales) including cleaning and maintenance as specified.
  • Observation of the quality reporting to superior of any deviations throughout the production process.
  • Adhere to an efficient inventory management and controls system as determined by Maintenance Supervisor in cooperation with assigned team.
  • Effective internal communications within assigned team.
  • Mandatory and proper use of internal computer programs (e.g. SAP).
  • Lean Management / 5S
  • Pay attention to department work area and job functions reporting immediately all health and safety observations or opportunities as well as any other opportunities for improvement (e.g. work flow, processes).
  • Maintain a clean, organized and efficient work area.
  • compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Requires flexibility and understanding that this position may be required to perform duties outside the duties listed above in order to meet the mission and goals of Mankiewicz Coatings.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent hours in a related work environment.
  • Receive hazardous waste training within 6 months of initial employment, and annually thereafter in accordance with the applicable provisions of R.61-79.262.17(a)(7)(ii), (iii) and (iv)(D) of the South Carolina Hazardous Waste Management Regulations (SCHWMR).
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations.
  • Experience with hazardous waste disposal desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Experience with SAP software (preferred)
  • Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching.
  • Exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and must pass annual respirator fit testing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Able to stand for 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to understand directions as provided by the supervisor.
