Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in materials or production scheduling
• Basic understanding of MRP systems and material control processes in manufacturing
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across purchasing, scheduling, and manufacturing teams

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying material constraints on new orders from customers
• Assist in releasing purchase requisitions to purchasing
• Maintain material status reports in the MRP system communicating material position and production plan
• Release discrete jobs to the manufacturing floor per the production plan and material availability
• Resolve material issues from attrition or unforeseen challenges impacting production
• Ensure material is processed through the MRP system to enable shipments and invoicing
