Job summary

Klondike Cheese Company in Monroe, WI is seeking a Production Assistant to support daily cheese production. Shift is 8:00am until done, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

You will verify orders, enter data in the ERP system, maintain production records, assist with schedules, coordinate with yogurt, packaging, and shipping teams, and help ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Strong mathematical aptitude for accurate calculations and data analysis.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and scheduling principles preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and related business software preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel; Outlook/Word knowledge beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Verifies production orders, materials, and information for accuracy and completion.
• Performs data entry in ERP, identifies discrepancies, and takes corrective action.
• Compiles, maintains, and files production, purchasing, and inventory records per procedures.
• Assists with development/maintenance of production schedules; backup to Yogurt Scheduler.
• Supports determination and tracking of milk/ingredient requirements for schedules.
• Communicates schedules and requirements with yogurt make and packaging departments.
• Coordinates with shipping and other departments to fix production/inventory errors.
• Verifies production data for reporting, inventory control, and records.
• Ensures timely completion of production documentation and admin records.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Follows company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
