Job summary

Klondike Cheese Co. in Monroe, WI is seeking a Packaging Supervisor on first shift to lead the packaging team and support daily operations.

This role focuses on safe, efficient, and quality-driven production, with responsibilities including setting up equipment, monitoring performance, coordinating schedules, and ensuring timely paperwork.

A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered, and prior cheese or food manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management or supervisor experience.
• Cheese or food industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP/HACCP and food safety.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills and ability to supervise.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations of the packaging department, working as needed to support the packaging team.
• Coordinate, assist with, and advise department employees of daily work to be completed.
• Oversee daily setup and operation of equipment for efficient operation.
• Communicate with packaging team, management, and other supervisors.
• Ensure timely completion of all production paperwork and documentation.
• Monitor adherence to GMP, safety, sanitation, HACCP, and participate in the plant’s BRC program.
• Coach subordinates and conduct performance reviews after consulting with management.
