Job summary

Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Production Scheduler for our Chicago, Illinois facility. You will supervise production planning activities, develop schedules, and coordinate workflows to meet customer demand and plant goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in SAP and Excel. The role requires onsite presence and collaboration with sales, operations, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data accuracy.
• Knowledge of SAP and manufacturing planning concepts.
• Ability to coordinate across internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule tube mill operations to meet production targets and customer demand.
• Develop and maintain weekly rolling and production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material requirements with suppliers.
• Communicate lead-times and material availability to stakeholders daily.
• Track project status and adjust schedules to meet delivery goals.
