Job summary

Ryerson Holding Corporation is seeking a Production Scheduler in Houston, TX to coordinate all processing equipment and manage machine capacity and available work hours. You will work with shop-floor Operators and relay scheduling needs to ensure smooth operations.

You will review orders and processing instructions for compliance, manage SAP transactions and reports to ensure on-time completion, and analyze ROAD performance data for improvements.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a scheduling-type position preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success with MRP systems preferred.
• Knowledge of metals processing or manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Customer-focused problem-solver with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordination of all processing equipment and related workloads.
• Management of machine capacity and available work hours.
• Coordinate with shop-floor operators to communicate scheduling needs.
• Review orders and processing instructions to ensure compliance with job work instructions.
• Manage SAP transactions and reports to ensure orders are completed.
• Review ROAD performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Review orders for skid and PVC film requirements.
