Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Production Scheduler to optimize shop floor throughput on our Pasadena, TX site.

You will plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities, ensuring feasible schedules that reflect capacity and lead times while maintaining ERP integrity and generating key production reports. The role requires experience with ERP systems, JobBoss and MS Office, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills to support cross‑functional teams and

Qualifications

• Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of production scheduling andERP systems.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
• Experience in a Machine Shop and turbomachinery context.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedules inspections, disassembly, machining, balancing, assembly and shipment preparation to meet customer needs.
• Plans and coordinates production workflow by analyzing work instructions.
• Manages production planning, capacity planning, scheduling, prioritization and tracking.
• Maintains ERP parameters, releases work orders, creates capacity plans and forecasts.
• Generates templates and reports on capacity, backlog, and KPIs.
• Communicates schedules in cross‑functional meetings and reviews capacity issues.
• Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity to determine processes and staffing.
• Coordinates with buyers and vendors for deliveries and schedule changes.
