Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. in Rochester, MN, is seeking a Production Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate activities between Production, Production Planners, Support, Engineering and Materials.

You will drive continuous improvement across systems and support functions to keep manufacturing on track. The role emphasizes timely WOs, backlog management, and effective communication with PMs, Schedulers, Stockroom and Leaders to ensure on-time customer shipments and optimized WIP.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Read, write and perform basic math
• Experience with production scheduling systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Monitors WO due dates to ensure on-time shipping and keeps management updated on product flow
• Leads meetings to close overdue WOs
• Coordinates rework and upgrades WOs and related transactions
• Serves as focal point for machine line scheduling on conflicting priorities
• Coordinates production output goals for special circumstances
• Liaises for changes to machine line or Wave operations PMs
• Researches and corrects discrepancies on sub-assemblies and final assemblies
• Coordinates releases, priorities, holds and shortages with key teams
• Ensures timely documentation and progress reports
• Tracks daily status and resolves issues with support groups
