Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a Scheduling Assistant to manage daily evaluation and loading of incoming orders to ensure on-time delivery. The role focuses on slotting orders, material availability, and communicating schedules to purchasing and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing scheduling experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong data analysis abilities. This position requires teamwork and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, reporting, and data analysis.
• Understanding of capacity planning and production constraints.
• Familiarity with scheduling policies and procedures.
• Advanced Excel skills; filtering and sorting, pivot tables.
• Knowledge of general business principles.

Responsibilities

• Slot incoming orders within capacity constraints for production plans.
• Determine material availability and adjust schedules for efficiency.
• Develop, communicate daily production plans to purchasing and manufacturing.
• Communicate ship dates via EDI to order teams.
• Prepare production tickets and job jackets for manufacturing.
• Support new processes and process improvements.
• Generate ad-hoc reports and participate in cross-functional projects.
• Monitor schedule adherence to maximize customer service.
• Identify root causes and recommend solutions; escalate as needed.
• Prioritize tasks to satisfy timelines and provide updates to management.
• Demonstrate diplomacy and tact with internal and external customers.
• Other duties as assigned by Scheduling Manager.
