Job summary

Agupdate is seeking a highly organized Production Coordinator to review incoming customer orders, coordinate production schedules, and help ensure on-time delivery. This on-site role in New Jersey collaborates with purchasing, production, customer service, and management to prioritize work and track order status.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Production planning or scheduling experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming customer orders and enter jobs into the production schedule.
• Coordinate daily production priorities with shop personnel.
• Monitor order status and track progress through production.
• Communicate with purchasing regarding material availability.
• Assist in scheduling jobs to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Follow up on delayed orders and help resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate records within the ERP system.
• Participate in production meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Generate reports on work orders, production status, and delivery performance.
• Work closely with all departments to improve workflow and efficiency.
