Job summary

Argenta is seeking a Production Scheduler at our Shawnee, KS site. You will translate the Master Production Schedule into a detailed schedule, generating and sequencing work orders to keep manufacturing operations efficient, on time, and GMP-compliant.

You will collaborate with Customer Supply Planner and shop floor management to balance capacity, materials and labor. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in production scheduling in manufacturing, with SAP or equivalent ERP/MRP experience and strong

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years in production scheduling, planning, or production supervision in manufacturing (pharma/GMP preferred).
Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Generate and release Work Orders in SAP/ERP per Master Production Schedule.
Develop and maintain detailed daily/weekly production schedule per capacity planning.
Coordinate with Production and shop floor to align schedules with equipment and labor.
Monitor progress; identify risks, delays, material shortages, or priority changes.
Adjust schedules in response to constraints; escalate when needed.
Ensure MRP parameters are accurate; flag shortages to Procurement.
Run what-if scenarios to optimize schedules from manufacturing and supply chain perspectives.
Communicate schedule changes to Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Procurement.
Track KPIs like on-time delivery and schedule adherence; support root-cause analysis.
Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements; support continuous improvement.
