Production Scheduler & Inventory Planner

Job summary

ATC Drivetrain seeks a Scheduling and Inventory Control professional to plan production schedules for multiple product lines at the Oklahoma City facility.

You will review daily production needs, coordinate material availability, and work with supervisors to resolve schedule gaps while maintaining the Work Order Plan Tracker dashboard.

The role requires a BA/BS with 5 years in scheduling and inventory control, ERP/MRP experience, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; 5 years of experience in Scheduling and Inventory Control; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred.
• Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements.
• Experience using MRP / ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Produces daily quantity build schedule by product line.
• Reviews daily production required, production capability, and material availability for production.
• Identifies potential and actual shortages in core and materials and coordinates remedy with managers/supervisors.
• Orders core from customer as needed.
• Confer with department supervisors to determine project status.
• Expedites operations to meet schedule changes.
• Prepares reports such as production performance to schedules and forecast accuracy.
• Maintains Work Order Plan Tracker dashboard.
