Job summary

Phoenix Flavors & Fragrances is seeking a proactive Production Planner in Norwood, NJ, to coordinate production schedules, ensure material availability, and support on-time customer deliveries in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will develop daily and weekly schedules, coordinate with cross-functional teams, monitor orders and inventory, and maintain ERP data in NetSuite or BatchMetrics to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• . At least two years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Manufacturing experience required; food, flavor, fragrance, or chemical industry experience preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite, BatchMetrics, or comparable ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and collaborate across departments.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and material availability.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Production teams to meet customer commitments.
• Monitor work orders, inventory, and production schedules, proactively addressing material shortages and scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory information in NetSuite, BatchMetrics, or similar ERP systems.
• Communicate production priorities and schedule changes to Operations leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, scheduling, and inventory management.
