Job summary

MiTek is seeking a production planning support professional to assist with coordinating customer orders and monitoring progress within production and inventory systems.

You will help update schedules, review data for accuracy, and communicate status with manufacturing, customer service, and logistics teams. The role includes basic lead-time reporting and routine inventory tasks in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Associates Related Field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis

Responsibilities

• Assist with updating and maintaining the production schedule under supervision.
• Monitor sales orders and provide basic lead-time information using the ERP system.
• Support the preparation of production schedules based on existing orders and customer priorities.
• Participate in routine inventory tasks such as cycle counts.
• Communicate order status and basic scheduling details with internal departments (e.g., manufacturing, customer service, logistics).
• Help track inventory levels and incoming materials under guidance from senior staff.
• Enter and review data to ensure order and inventory accuracy.
• Perform basic analysis related to production timing and capacity under direction
