Job summary

Stryten Energy in Columbus, IN is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and maintain schedules for Finished Goods (FG) and Work in Process (WIP) in injection molding using IQMS. Coordinate demand, capacity, and material availability to support On-Time Delivery and maximize manufacturing efficiency.

Collaborate with Production, Materials, Purchasing, and Customer Service to adjust plans as priorities shift, identify constraints, and ensure accurate schedules that meet customer requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production scheduling, planning, materials, manufacturing, or a related role preferred.
• Experience scheduling injection molding or other high-volume manufacturing operations strongly preferred.
• Experience with IQMS/DELMIAWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute production schedules for Finished Goods (FG) and Work in Process (WIP) injection molding operations using IQMS.
• Review customer demand, open orders, inventory levels, production capacity, and material availability to establish production priorities.
• Monitor and support On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance by identifying potential shortages, capacity constraints, and schedule risks before they impact customer shipments.
• Maintain regular communication with Production regarding schedule priorities, press availability, production performance, downtime, changeovers, and other conditions affecting the production plan.
• Adjust production schedules as conditions change while minimizing unnecessary disruption to manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Materials to identify component or raw-material constraints that could affect scheduled production.
• Review WIP and FG inventory to support appropriate inventory levels while meeting customer requirements.
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Customer Service, Materials, Quality, Shipping, and other departments to resolve issues affecting customer delivery.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives related to production planning, scheduling, inventory, and material flow.
