Job summary

JBS USA is hiring a Production Scheduler in Lenoir, NC. The role focuses on production planning, scheduling, MRP/ERP management, and inventory control to ensure raw materials and finished goods are available on time.

The scheduler collaborates with Operations, Quality, Procurement, and Logistics to align forecasts, capacity, and production priorities with business goals and food safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in production scheduling/planning.
• Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environment.
• Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to support manufacturing objectives.
• Coordinate production requirements with Operations, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Warehousing and Logistics teams.
• Review forecasts, orders, inventories and capacity to create achievable schedules.
• Identify bottlenecks and capacity issues and recommend adjustments.
• Monitor schedule attainment and communicate deviations and recovery plans to leadership.
• Ensure timely communication of schedules to teams and balance priorities to minimize downtime.
