Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to create and optimize daily production schedules, ensuring feasibility and alignment with company objectives. The role requires clear communication with production teams and a proactive approach to capacity planning.

You will work with EPICS and EPICOR ERP systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and own scheduling issues from start to finish while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize production schedules based on key criteria for the department
• Actively monitor schedules to identify and resolve issues before they impact the business
• Actively participate in production and scheduling conversations with the wider team to ensure you fully understand current capacity and scheduling needs
• Collaborate with the scheduling team to address scheduling issues
• Be the main point of contact for our production team and take full ownership of communication to ensure we deliver on our commitments
• Provide support to assigned departments with L4 Board participation
• Work with EPICS and EPICOR ERP systems
• Other duties as assigned.
