Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking a Production Scheduler to align production with sales and operations planning, optimize capacity, and support timely customer deliveries. You will collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure feasible schedules and efficient labor use.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and education in supply chain or operations management. A SAP background is a plus and relocation or travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel required.
• 2 Year / Associate Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field of study preferred.
• SAP Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain capacity templates and adjust capacity/manpower as demand dictates.
• Reserve capacity for short lead time programmed orders.
• Provide support and communication between sales and production facility for schedule changes and cancelations.
• Assist in identifying trends and suggest capacity adjustments.
• Coordinate multiple production schedules to support shipping metrics and customer commitments.
• Communicate production schedule requirements with operations staff, supply chain, and all applicable business functions.
• Establish schedules in accordance with the overall sales and operations plan.
• Recognize and suggest changes to daily capacity and opportunities for labor reduction.
• Implement changes resulting from engineering or customer requests.
• Assist with inquiries from the sales department pertaining to production status of an order.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Verify and adjust the schedule in accordance with the availability of critical parts.
• Communicate late shipments daily to sales and shipping departments.
• Create and distribute daily status reports to all necessary business functions.
