Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Production Scheduler to join our Plant Administration team in Michigan. This role plans, measures, and monitors capacity to align with sales demand and production schedules, using SAP or ERP data to drive insights and improve throughput.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate across engineering, sales, and operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years in manufacturing industry.
  • Prior SAP or ERP system knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues affecting plant capacity.
  • Maintain connection with sales to align inventory with customer needs.
  • Coordinate with engineering, sales, and marketing on plans.
  • Use manufacturing data to drive insights on efficiency and throughput.
  • Produce reports evaluating capacity and identify improvement areas.
  • Recommend process and equipment improvements to optimize production.

  • Adhere to safety programs, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
  • Report quality defects promptly and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Attend meetings and complete required safety trainings.
