Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline in Zebulon, NC is seeking a Production Scheduler to execute 0-6 week horizon scheduling for select work centers, oversee capacity definitions and data accuracy across the site, and coordinate supply chain activities including demand and order fulfillment.

You will lead daily Flow Meetings, maintain an Open Order Book, and ensure conformance to schedule using FFRS; prior SAP experience and scheduling experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• 3+ years' experience in a logistics/production-related role.
• SAP experience and scheduler/planner experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate Open Order Book so systems can identify scheduled shipments.
• Execute level-loaded and Fixed Frequency Repeating Schedule (FFRS) to ensure order fulfillment.
• Measure Conformance to Schedule (CTS), Schedule Stability (SS), and Cycle Time for assigned work centers.
• Facilitate daily supply chain performance management sessions (Flow Meetings) for selected work centers.
• Maintain up-to-date capacity definitions for production work centers based on output.
• Execute predefined Performance Management processes to ensure order fulfillment and adherence to FFRS.
• Accommodate Production Scheduling for non-standard activities (e.g., NPI) while maintaining FFRS standards.
• Maintain complete data accuracy of supply-critical fields across data systems.
• Identify and mitigate stock at risk and work with support functions on inventory write-offs.
