Job summary

Kelvion Products in Knoxville, TN seeks a Production Scheduler to support the Master Production Scheduler in developing and maintaining efficient production plans for new equipment sites. You will help with capacity planning, scheduling, and forecasting to align resources with customer demand and production goals.

This role collaborates with Sales, Logistics, and Manufacturing, prepares daily/weekly schedules, and tracks open work orders to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• 1-3 years in production scheduling, materials planning, or similar manufacturing ops.
• Experience with ERP or planning tools.
• Strong data analysis skills and comfort with planning reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in annual capacity planning budgets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Manufacturing to maintain scheduling data.
• Develop and manage daily/weekly production schedules.
• Produce and distribute production packet paperwork.
• Track and manage open work orders to meet schedule.
• Process daily production confirmations for record-keeping.
• Attend weekly production meetings to discuss priorities and shortages.
• Liaise with procurement to expedite materials.
• Generate and publish scheduling reports and KPIs.
• Support process improvement for scheduling efficiency.
• Maintain master distribution schedule and communicate changes.
• Coordinate with operations on SAP/Syteline parameters.
• Participate in production/planning meetings.
• Adhere to IATF 16949, safety policies, SOPs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and documentation.
• Assist with monthly and yearly safety inspections.
• All other duties assigned.
