Job summary

Kelvion, a global leader in heat exchangers, is seeking a Production Material Planner in Knoxville, TN. You will ensure material availability for production, coordinate with Purchasing and Production teams, and develop schedules to meet customer demand and project timelines.

The role requires at least 3 years in material planning within an industrial setting and the ability to forecast material needs, manage supplier relations, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in material planning and ordering in an industrial environment.
• Ability to forecast material needs and schedule to meet production goals.
• Experience coordinating with Purchasing, Production and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Decides on date and quantity of materials and services and issues POs.
• Manage material planning and supplier scheduling processes.
• Plan and develop personnel under direct responsibility and ensure training and evaluations.
• Ensure materials and services are available on time.
• Define material planning and ordering processes (MRP, reorder point, spot order).
• Provide regular visibility of supplier on-time delivery performance.
