Job summary

JFC Staffing Companies seeks a proactive, hands-on coordinator to support the production process by tracking customer orders, updating statuses, and coordinating timely delivery across multiple teams. You will work closely with operators, supervisors, purchasing, and logistics to keep customers informed and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable communicating technical information clearly in writing and speech.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or related fields, or equivalent education.
  • Strong communication skills across levels.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and update the production status of customer orders and materials.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors, purchasing, and supply chain teams to track progress and determine completion dates.
  • Expedite customer orders and coordinate timely delivery.
  • Manage customer shipping schedules for production, inspection, and dispatch.
  • Keep web-based order tracking systems current and accurate.
  • Record any order re-scheduling requests from customers.
  • Create and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence related to order management.
  • Complete special projects or assignments as needed to support department goals.

Key Requirements
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or related fields, or equivalent education
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with team members across all levels, from operators to executives
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Adept at teamwork and collaboration
  • Clear, concise communication of technical information both verbally and in writing
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and prioritization skills
Essential Skills
  • Basic math proficiency and the ability to accurately read tape measures and rulers
  • Familiarity with administrative tasks such as maintaining files, records, and managing documentation
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
  • Background working within contract manufacturing environments
  • Ability to interpret various documentation styles, including assembly drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and job orders
  • Understanding of electrical schematics and how they relate to assembly work
