Job summary

Korpack is seeking a Production Scheduler to own and optimize the live manufacturing plan across our facilities. You will validate material availability, sequence changeovers, and communicate shifts so the floor stays coordinated and productive.

Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Operations, you’ll collaborate with Production and Materials Managers and customer teams. Thrive in a high-mix, fast-paced environment and re-sequence plans as needed to meet commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; food packaging or food-grade experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with allergen sequencing, sanitation windows, lot control, and why food products add scheduling considerations.
• Experience with co-manufacturing or co-packing is a plus.
• Highly tech savvy; comfortable in MRP/ERP systems and scheduling software; Acumatica experience is a plus.
• Experience scheduling in a high-mix environment with frequent schedule changes.
• Strong communicator delivering schedule changes clearly and quickly.
• Organized under pressure and able to re-sequence without losing the thread.

Responsibilities

• Own the production schedule across Korpack facilities and validate material availability.
• Sequence changeovers intelligently and communicate changes to the floor.
• Coordinate with Production Managers, Materials Managers, and customer teams to keep plans aligned.
• Re-sequence plans quickly when customer launches or line issues occur, ensuring on-time delivery.

We're looking for a Production Scheduler who thrives in exactly that environment. Not someone who prints a schedule Monday and defends it all week — someone who treats the schedule as a living thing, re-sequences with confidence when reality changes, and keeps production, materials, and shipping all rowing in the same direction while it happens.

The Journey

You’ll report to our Director of Manufacturing Operations and own the production schedule across our facilities. Your day lives inside our ERP (Acumatica) and scheduling tools — building the plan, validating material availability, sequencing changeovers intelligently, and communicating changes so the floor is never surprised.

You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with Production Managers, Materials Managers, and our customer-facing teams. When a customer moves a date, when a line goes down, when materials land early or late — you're the person who reworks the puzzle and gets the new answer out fast.

What Success Looks Like

• The floor runs off the schedule — because the schedule is accurate, achievable, and current
• Schedule changes are absorbed in hours, not days, and communicated before they become surprises
• Changeovers are sequenced to minimize downtime, not just to check boxes
• Material availability is confirmed before a job is scheduled, not discovered when the line is waiting
• On-time performance to customer commitments climbs and stays there
• The schedule lives in the system — visible, current, and trusted — not in a spreadsheet only you understand

Requirements

• Experience scheduling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is required — food packaging or food-grade experience is strongly preferred, including familiarity with allergen sequencing, sanitation windows, lot control, and why food products add extra scheduling considerations.
• Experience with co-manufacturing or co-packing is a plus — you understand what it means to run someone else’s product, on their timeline, to their specifications.
• Highly tech savvy — you're genuinely comfortable living in an MRP/ERP system and dedicated scheduling software, and you pick up new tools fast (we run Acumatica)
• Experience scheduling in a high-mix environment — a company that makes a wide variety of products with frequent schedule changes, not one SKU on repeat
• Strong communicator — you deliver schedule changes clearly, quickly, and without drama
• Organized under pressure — you can hold competing priorities and re-sequence without losing the thread
