Job description

Our mission is clear: to be North America’s premier packaging solutions provider, simplifying client operations with innovative, technology-driven solutions. We are fueled by the values instilled by Nick Novy, aiming to not just meet but exceed industry benchmarks. Our purpose is to empower our customers with smarter business decisions through our expertise.

Korpack’s Promise: FAST and Beyond

Korpack stands for more than just speed. Our F.A.S.T methodology – Fearless, Adaptable, Simplistic, and Technology-driven – is a testament to our approach toward complex challenges. We’re not afraid to dive deep and tackle the toughest packaging puzzles with agility and clarity, all while harnessing the power of technology.

Culture: The Korpack Difference

In the heart of Korpack, there’s a culture that thrives on agility, innovation, and relentless pursuit of excellence. We’re not your typical packaging company. Our start-up spirit combined with our industry experience makes us uniquely dynamic. We embrace challenges, turning them into opportunities to innovate and grow. Our team, akin to a close-knit family, is dedicated to achieving success for our clients. We believe in building relationships based on trust, integrity, and mutual respect.

About the job

About the Job

Korpackis a food-grade, SQF-certified contract packaging company — and athree-time Inc. 5000 honoree in the last six yearsas one of America's fastest-growing companies. Growth like ours createsa very specifickind of scheduling challenge: a wide variety of products, customers whose needs change fast, and a production plan thathas toflex without breaking.

We'relooking for a Production Scheduler who thrives in exactly that environment. Not someone who prints a schedule Monday and defends it all week — someone who treats the schedule as a living thing, re-sequences with confidence when reality changes, and keeps production, materials, and shipping all rowing in the same direction while it happens.

The Journey

You'llreport to our Director of Manufacturing Operations and own the production schedule across our facilities. Your day lives inside our ERP (Acumatica) and scheduling tools — building the plan, validatingmaterial availability, sequencing changeovers intelligently, and communicating changes so the floor is never surprised.

You'llwork shoulder-to-shoulder with Production Managers, Materials Managers, and our customer-facing teams. When a customermovesa date, when a line goes down, when materials land early or late —you'rethe person who reworks the puzzle and gets the newanswer outfast.

What Success Looks Like

  • The floor runs off the schedule — because the schedule isaccurate, achievable, and current
  • Schedule changes are absorbed in hours, not days, and communicated before they become surprises
  • Changeovers are sequenced to minimize downtime, not just to check boxes
  • Material availability is confirmedbeforea job is scheduled, not discovered when the line is waiting
  • On-time performance to customer commitments climbs and stays there
  • The schedule lives in the system — visible, current, and trusted — not in a spreadsheet only you understand

Requirements

  • Experience scheduling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment isrequired— food packaging or food-grade experience is strongly preferred, including familiarity with allergen sequencing, sanitation windows, lotcontrol, and why food products add extra scheduling considerations.
  • Experience with co-manufacturing or co-packing is a plus— you understand what it means to run someone else’s product, on their timeline, to their specifications.
  • Highly tech savvy—you'regenuinely comfortable living in an MRP/ERP system and dedicated scheduling software, and you pick up new tools fast (we run Acumatica)
  • Experience scheduling in ahigh-mix environment— a company that makes a wide variety of products with frequent schedule changes, not one SKU on repeat
  • Strong communicator — you deliver schedule changes clearly, quickly, and without drama
  • Organized under pressure — you can hold competing priorities and re-sequence without losing the thread

The Challenges

Let'sbe honest: co-packing means the schedule changes. A customer's launch moves, a truck shows up a day early, a line needs maintenance — and your beautiful plan from this morning is history. This role is not for someone who finds schedule changes stressful;it'sfor someone who finds theminteresting. You'llalso be building alongside us — as we grow into new space, the scheduling processes and tools will keep evolving, andyou'llhave a real voice in shaping them.

The Reward

Three Inc. 5000 appearances in six years means one thing for the people who join us now:opportunity. We are actively building out our leadership and operations teams, we promote from within, and a scheduler who proves they can own the plan atKorpacktoday will have doors open tomorrow that simplydon'texist at flat, slow-growth companies. You'llbe trusted with real ownership, measured onresults, and surrounded by people who take pride in winning as a team.

How We DISRUPT

Korpackisn'there to just make a boom in the packaging industry —we'rehere to DISRUPT it from every angle:

  • Determined— The right solutiondoesn'tcome easy, butwe'redeterminedto find it and implement it.
  • Innovative— The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond them into the impossible.
  • Responsive— Speed, agility, and accuracy in addressing our internal and external customers is in our DNA.
  • Proactive— Don't wait for something to happen, MAKE ithappen. You are what you do, not what you say you will do.
  • Teamwork— Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.
  • Smile— Smiles are contagious... be a carrier.

Ifyou'rethe kind of scheduler who keeps a complex operation calm when everything changes — and wants to grow with a companythat'sactually growing— we want to meet you!
