Job summary

Corvid Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to support increased manufacturing activity at our Mooresville facility. You will create, track, and monitor schedules for multiple systems, serving as a communication hub among management, procurement, and the machine shop.

The ideal candidate will be data-driven, ensuring Bills of Materials and related data are accurate in Costpoint, and will develop data acquisition strategies while reviewing performance metrics.

Qualifications

Job description

Corvid's growing product portfolio requires the addition of an experienced Production Scheduler to support increased manufacturing activity. The position will create, track, update and monitor schedules related to production efforts for a variety of systems produced at our Mooresville facility. The position will be a communication hub for management, procurement, and the machine shop – working from project requirements to develop (and manage) executable project schedules.

The ideal candidate will be data driven. The role will ensure manufacturing orders, bills of materials, and similar data are accurately reflected in the ERP (Costpoint). Using internal resources, candidate will develop data acquisition strategies and review performance metrics to help understand program (and organizational) performance. Candidate should be comfortable communicating weekly updates, schedule changes & challenges, revised forecasts, and other relevant information to stakeholders to both the production and engineering organizations.

Key tasking for this position will include:

• Utilize Deltek Costpoint to manage manufacturing orders (MOs), bills of materials (BOMs), and inventory allocation
• Identify, mitigate, and communicate schedule constraints, bottlenecks, and dependencies to prevent project delays
• Analyze Costpoint data for material shortages, hour variances, routing efficiency – use data to help alleviate production constraints
• Map manufacturing capacity against contractual delivery dates and engineering releases

Requirements:

• Candidate must be a US Citizen (preferred candidate will meet eligibility for a Secret Clearance)
• Demonstrated experience with scheduling tools (MS Project, Open Plan, etc.)
• Ability to develop and disseminate program specific information via briefings, reports, and other communication methods
• Strong MS Office skills, including MS Project
• Experience working DoW manufacturing programs is a plus
