Job summary

Corvid Technologies LLC in Langtree, NC is seeking a full-time electrician to support maintenance and installation of electrical systems for new equipment, robotics, and manufacturing lines. You will work with engineers to install, troubleshoot, and service industrial machinery while ensuring safety standards across facilities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years' electrician experience or a technical training background, with knowledge of robotics, CNCs, and automated systems, plus OSHA

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US citizen and eligible for a Secret clearance.
• At least 3 years of electrician experience or completion of a technical training program and 1 year of related experience.
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing robotics, CNC machines, and automated systems.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety protocols, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and environmental compliance.
• Preferred candidate will understand hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems for cross-disciplinary troubleshooting.

Job description

Corvid's manufacturing team continues to grow in both size and capabilities, requiring the need to hire a full-time electrician to support maintenance. The position will provide inhouse support for basic and advanced electrical tasks on existing systems & infrastructure as well as installation/set up of new equipment and facilities. This unique role, the candidate will get to work with highly technical engineers and scientists designing, prototyping and testing advanced weapon systems for various DoW customers.

This unique position will support installing of electrical access for new machinery, including robotics, assembly stations, conveyance systems, and machining centers (meeting operational safety standards). The role will also ensure routine maintenance and proactive troubleshooting is completed across Corvid facilities. As needed, candidate will work trouble shooting and repair of machinery and other electrical systems, including root cause analysis to identify, document, address recurring failures.

Tasking will include:

• Installation of industrial machinery and systems
• Troubleshoot and repair existing electrical systems
• Routine Maintenance and care for a variety of industrial machines and test equipment
• Become the in-house electrical expert & key contact for electrical support related to Corvid's growing manufacturing footprint

Requirements:

• Candidate must be a US Citizen (preferred candidate will meet eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance)
• At least 3 years of electrician experience or completion of a technical training program and 1 year of related experience (experienced candidates, including licensed electricians, will be considered)
• Experience running diagnostics, troubleshooting, , and repair of complex machinery, including robotics, CNC machines, and automated systems is a plus
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of industrial safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and environmental compliance
• Preferred candidate will have strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems for cross-disciplinary troubleshooting
