Job summary

Corvid Technologies is seeking an experienced data engineer/software developer to bridge manufacturing operations and business intelligence. You will design, build, and maintain custom reports and dashboards pulling data from ERP, MES, Quality, and Quoting systems, and you will write REST/SOAP API scripts to automate data movement between platforms.

The role is based at our aerospace/defense manufacturing facility with a hybrid work arrangement depending on experience and needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data analysis, systems integration, or a related BI role.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, React, and SQL.
• Experience building dashboards with Power BI or custom web portals.
• US citizenship and Mooresville, NC relocation requirement.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Corvid Technologies' Manufacturing Group is seeking an experienced data engineer/software development professional to bridge the gap between our manufacturing operations and business intelligence. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain custom reports and dashboards that pull data from our core ERP, MES, Quality, and Quoting systems. The ideal candidate can write custom REST/SOAP API scripts to automate data movement between software platforms in addition to analyzing data to help improve organizational performance.

This position is located at our aerospace and defense manufacturing facility. We offer a hybrid workspace with flexible working arrangements depending on candidate experience and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Dashboard & Report Development: Create and maintain high-utility custom reports, web applications, and interactive dashboards for operational visibility using React and SQL databases


• API & System Integration: Write, test, and edit REST and SOAP API scripts to seamlessly move data across our manufacturing software stack


• Data Extraction & Modeling: Query backend PostgreSQL databases to pull, clean, and model complex manufacturing datasets


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, quality, finance, and quoting teams to understand their unique data needs

Requirements

• Candidate must be a US Citizen and a resident of (or willing to relocate to) the Mooresville, NC area


• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, systems integration, or a related manufacturing-tech business intelligence role (preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field)


• Programming & Scripting: Strong ability to write and edit scripts (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to interact with RESTful and SOAP APIs.


• Frontend Development: Hands-on experience building user interfaces and custom dashboards using React


• Database Management: Strong SQL skills for querying and managing relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL


• Data Visualization: Proficiency in Power BI, React, or custom web-based reporting portal


• Previous experience working within an Aerospace & Defense or highly regulated manufacturing environment is preferred


• Experience with custom website development for hosting proprietary data dashboards is a plus


• Familiarity with manufacturing metrics, routing, bill of materials (BOM), and quality compliance tracking is preferred
